PennDOT District 11 is announcing overnight single-lane and shoulder closures on I-376 (Parkway East) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Sunday through Tuesday nights, November 24-26 weather permitting.
Single-lane and shoulder closures on I-376 will occur in each direction between the Fort Pitt Bridge and Squirrel Hill Tunnel Sunday through Tuesday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as needed. Crews from Bonder Technical Services will perform LED lighting installation.

PennDOT District 11 is announcing a single-lane restriction on eastbound I-376 (Parkway East) in Churchill Borough, Wilkins Township and the Municipalities of Penn Hills and Monroeville, Allegheny County, will begin Monday, November 18 weather permitting.
Starting Monday, a single-lane restriction on eastbound I-376 will occur between the Churchill (Exit 79B) and the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Exit 85) exit as needed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Saturday, November 30 as crews conduct line painting, electrical work, and concrete sealing.

PennDOT District 11is announcing a lane restriction in the outbound (eastbound) Squirrel Hill Tunnel (I-376) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Thursday night, November 14 weather permitting.
A single-lane restriction will occur in the outbound Squirrel Hill Tunnel from 10 p.m. Thursday night to 5 a.m. Friday morning to allow crews from the Wellington Power Corporation to conduct sandpipe system repairs.

PennDOT District 11 is announcing inspection activities on the Route 30 Westinghouse Bridge in North Versailles Township and East Pittsburgh Borough, Allegheny County will begin Friday, November 1 weather permitting.
Single-lane restrictions will occur in each direction on the Route 30 Westinghouse Bridge as needed between Linden Avenue and Della Drive from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays through late November.

PennDOT District 11is announcing an overnight lane restriction on eastbound I-376 (Parkway East) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Tuesday night, October 29 weather permitting.
A single-lane restriction will occur on the Parkway East in the eastbound direction between the Forbes Avenue/Oakland (Exit 72A) exit and Squirrel Hill/Homestead (Exit 74) interchange from 10 p.m. Tuesday night to 4 a.m. Wednesday morning. PennDOT crews will conduct electrical work on the signals near the Squirrel Hill Tunnel.
New Kensington Bridge Preservation Work in East Deer and New Kensington
PennDOT District 11 is announcing preservation work on the New Kensington Bridge which carries Route 1038 over the Allegheny River in East Deer Township in Allegheny County and the City of New Kensington in Westmoreland County will resume tomorrow, Tuesday, March 5 weather permitting.
A long-term traffic shift will begin at approximately 7 a.m. Tuesday on the New Kensington Bridge to allow structure painting, fence replacement, and sidewalk repair work to occur. Two 10-foot wide lanes will be maintained on the bridge.
Single-lane alternating traffic will occur daily on the New Kensington Bridge from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through late 2024 for bridge preservation work. Additionally, traffic stoppages of 10 minutes or less will occur as needed.
Truck traffic will be detoured during this phase of work.

This $24.59 million New Kensington / C.L. Schmitt Bridge preservation projects began in March 2023. The bridge, which spans both East Deer Township, Allegheny County and the City of New Kensington, Westmoreland County will undergo a latex overlay, several structural steel repairs, concrete substructure repairs, full painting of the existing superstructure, expansion dam replacement, installation of new light poles and luminaries, and minor approach roadway work. As work occurs this year, motorists can expect a lane width reduction along with flagging operations within the work zone. A six-week full closure and detour is anticipated to occur on the bridge as crews perform the latex overlay and structural steel repairs located at the expansion dams. The overall completion date is expected to be in late 2024.
