Walking Pittsburgh with Curator Raymund Ryan

Jul 8, 2020 - Jul 8, 2020 | 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Online Event by the Carnegie Museum of Art
Downtown Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh, PA 15222

Join Raymund Ryan, curator of The Heinz Architectural Center, for a series of live virtual tours of great Pittsburgh buildings. In recent months, Ryan has explored nearly all the city neighborhoods using Professor Franklin Toker’s seminal publication, Pittsburgh: An Urban Portrait (1986), as his guide. Learn more about well-known landmarks and first-time discoveries that make up the fabric of Pittsburgh’s built environment. Discover new additions to the Pittsburgh skyline and add your questions for the curator in this live Zoom event.

Each lecture will feature a specific Pittsburgh neighborhood:

  • June 17: Downtown
  • June 24: Oakland
  • July 1: The North & South Sides
  • July 8: From Downtown to East End

Register for individual events by 5 p.m. the day prior to the event. You will receive an email with the Zoom link after you purchase your ticket.
