A state of being pleasantly lost in one's thoughts; a daydream.
Reverie is a new event series curated by Brendan Barstow and CJ Cooper as an opportunity to explore the melodic side of dance music. Soul-stirring, evocative productions are blended to keep the dance floor moving and the mind musing. Hosted in the beautiful and newly renovated 3rd floor of Market Street Grocery, this event will feature immersive lighting and decor designed by Roxy Oglesby to create an atmosphere of airiness replete with a view of the heart of downtown Pittsburgh.
For the fourth edition of the Reverie series, NYC-based jozif will take the helm for a 2.5-hour set.
Jozif broke through with standout releases on labels like Wolflamb, mobilee records & Ministry of Sound back in 2010, alongside an RA podcast comprised solely of re-writes, edits and productions; and concluded the decade with appearances on Crosstown Rebels, Bedrock, and Desert Hearts. We're thrilled to enter this new decade with such a tremendous musical talent.
Far from just programming beats that make you jack, jozif's music is some of the most beautiful you will hear, with lush string arrangements, emotive pianos and golden synths coming together into soundscapes that will melt your heart as well as warm your soul.
Join us in the start of this new year for an evening of movement, melody, and magic.

In the era when America's Rust Belt got its name, factory workers labored on a 12-hour day or night shift for two weeks straight. To switch shifts, one group would have to work 24-hours straight and cover the labor gap. This grueling shift became known as the LongTurn.
Longturn Music was founded to give people with day jobs a space to spend their second shift. No bottle service, no passwords, just a dance floor filled with good people and good music.
Come early, stay late, dance hard.
