Youth Open Studio is a collaboration between The Andy Warhol Museum and Artists Image Resource (AIR), an artist-run printmaking facility on Pittsburgh’s North Side. Teens learn the photographic silkscreen printing process, experiment with new art-making tools and techniques, and work on independent projects in a relaxed, creative environment.
The studio at AIR is open from 4–8 p.m. each Wednesday, and it is staffed by The Warhol’s artist educators. There is no fee to visit, watch, or learn, but youth pay between $5–$10 for each silkscreen needed for independent projects.
Street parking is available.
