Laugh last, laugh best.

Sir John Falstaff, a once-beloved buffoon who has fallen on hard times, fancies himself a charming ladies’ man. In a drunken scheme to regain his fortune, he attempts to woo two wealthy women of Windsor—Alice Ford and Meg Page—using identical love letters. When the women discover his plan, they join forces to turn the tables and teach Falstaff a lesson he won’t soon forget.

The music mirrors the humor and chaos of this lively story, making Verdi’s Falstaff, based on Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor, one of the most celebrated comedic operas of all time.

Antony Walker conducts; Crystal Manich directs.
