Prine, widely celebrated as one of history's greatest songwriters, captivated millions of fans and earned the admiration of icons such as Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Tyler Childers, Lucinda Williams, Dwight Yoakam, Jason Isbell, and Bob Weir, amongst many others, are featured in the film performing on the Ryman stage for this special celebration of his life and music.

Fiona Whelan Prine, one of the producers on the film, had this to say: "When John passed in April 2020 there was an extraordinary outpouring of love from his many followers and fans all over the world. His life’s work - the catalog of songs he created - had a way of connecting to people using empathy, humor and truth to convey his understanding of the human condition. In helping to create this film my main goal was to honor that legacy in the most honest and authentic way possible. I wanted to create an opportunity for all of us to gather in remembrance, to celebrate how he had lived his life, and to honor his singular and unique talent."
