Brim Broome Boulevard Film Screening + Halloween Eve Party

Join Mattress Factory on Thursday, October 30 for a special spooky short film screening of “Brim Broome Boulevard” followed by a Q&A with Writer and Director, PJ Magerko-Liquorice.  

Fusing Halloween and high fashion, the stop-motion short invites viewers to embrace the extraordinary, celebrate the beauty of difference, and find inspiration in the unexpected. “Brim Broome Boulevard” marks the directorial debut of creative PJ Magerko-Liquorice, who collaborated with fashion house Wiederhoeft on the film’s magical miniature wardrobe. The stop-motion team bringing “Brim Broome Boulevard” to life includes animators who worked on Guillermo del Toro’s “Pinocchio,” “Wendell & Wild” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. 

Following the screening, Mattress Factory Exhibitions Director Danny Bracken will speak with Magerko-Liquorice about his process and inspirations.  

The evening will celebrate the spooky season with Halloween-themed food and beverage. All ages* welcome, and costumes are encouraged!
