Sound Series: Hand Habits w/ Fashion Club

The Warhol Theater welcomes Hand Habits, the songwriting outlet of guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Meg Duffy, for an intimate performance. Recorded in Los Angeles alongside co-producer Joseph Lorge, Hand Habits' most recent album, Blue Reminder, features collaborations with a range of musicians including Alan Wyffels, Gregory Uhlmann (Duffy’s collaborator in Duffy x Uhlmann), Blake Mills, Tim Carr, Daniel Aged, and Joshua Johnson and Anna Butters of SML.

This collection of songs largely eschews the more insular nature of earlier Hand Habits records, instead veering into the guitar-forward vibe of ’90s indie rock. Duffy has also performed extensively with Kevin Morby’s band and as a touring member of Perfume Genius. Los Angeles-based Fashion Club (aka Pascal Stevenson) opens the evening.
