ReelAbilities Film Festival

Join Film Pittsburgh for the 13th annual ReelAbilities Pittsburgh film festival, September 4-11, 2025, at the Pittsburgh Playhouse and online! ReelAbilities presents award-winning films by and about people living with disabilities.

The 2025 lineup includes 3 nights of in-person fun—including 2 feature films, a shorts block of 6 films, after-parties, an art market with artists from Creative Citizen Studios and Studio Forget-Me-Not, filmmaker Q&As, and more! For folks who want to fest from home, the lineup also includes 4 virtual feature films and 2 virtual shorts blocks.

All in-person films are presented with open captions or subtitles, audio description and ASL interpretation. Assisted listening devices are available at the theater. The venue has accessible options including wheelchair seating, bathrooms and entryways. All virtual films have captions or subtitles.
