This program will depart from the new Venture Outdoors kayak dock and travel around the Allegheny River. You will hear interesting facts and stories about Pittsburgh’s land and waterways.

This event is a designed to be a calm paddle along the river. The Allegheny River is generally smooth flowing, but it does have motorized traffic on it as well. Paddlers must be at least 35lbs and 3 years of age or more. Anyone under the age of 13 will ride in a tandem kayak with an adult. Tickets are per person.

The trip can travel 1.5 to 2.0 miles overall. Professional kayak guides and rental equipment are included (but you can bring your own boat as well).
