Beyond the Script: Character Development (Ages 13-16)

This class, for students ages 13-16, is an immersive acting class designed to help actors delve deeper into the art of creating fully realized, authentic characters. In this course, students will explore techniques for understanding a character's backstory, motivations, and emotional depth, moving beyond the words on the page. Through exercises, improvisation, and scene work, participants will learn to bring their characters to life in unique and compelling ways, developing a deeper connection to their roles. Whether you're preparing for an audition or a performance, this class equips you with the tools to build multidimensional characters that resonate with audiences. All acting levels welcome!

Details:

• July 14-18, 2025
• Student Summer Sessions take place Monday through Friday from 9 am-4 pm
• All-week aftercare is available from 4 pm-5 pm for an additional $50 per student.
• This camp will culminate in a final performance party, where friends and family will be invited to join and share in the fun and creativity of the week.
• Final Showcase for friends and family will be on Friday from 4 pm - 5 pm
