The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is proud to participate in Pittsburgh’s 2025 WPA Juneteenth and Black Music Celebration with an outdoor concert on Thursday, June 19 from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at Mellon Park. Led by Principal Pops Conductor Byron Stripling, the program will feature a lively big band set that showcases members of the PSO brass alongside regional jazz musicians and will include special appearances by vocalist Sydney McSweeney and Bobby Floyd playing the Hammond B3 organ.
