This exhibition explores abstract art, architecture, city planning during an extraordinary time and place 75 years ago.
During the early 1950’s artist and Benedums‘ accountant, Glen Davis, witnessed demolition of the Point and rise of modernist design of downtown Pittsburgh from his office window on the 14th floor of the historic Benedum-Trees building.
His photography, paintings, and sculptures provide a connection between our city and the post war movements in abstract art and urban renewal.
