Let’s gather around the table for stitching, painting, and inscribing the words of our histories, wishes, visions, and imaginations onto fabric that can wave in the wind. How do words change when they are moved by air? How do words become part of our movement and create movements? Join artists Andrea Geyer, etta cetera, and Cauleen Smith, each of whom activates the ancient practice of banner making as part of their artistic practice, for an afternoon of making together and conversation.
