Steel in the City

Steel in the City is a collaboration between the Steel City Arts Initiative and the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership to bring people together through the power of music. This free, interactive community workshop invites participants of all ages to explore music in a hands-on, joyful setting—no experience necessary!

Whether you're learning the basics of music theory, discovering new instruments, or teaming up with others to create a shared sound, Steel in the City is all about connection, creativity, and fun. Come join us in beautiful Mellon Square and be part of a vibrant musical experience that celebrates community and the joy of making music together.
