The Sound Series welcomes back the acclaimed guitarist and songwriter Buffalo Nichols (aka Carl Nichols) this time with his band, in the museum’s intimate theater. Looking to bring the blues of the past into the future, Nichols has recently released his second album, The Fatalist, on Fat Possum Records, which features drum machines, samples, and synthesizer textures, in creating Nichols unique contemporary blues aesthetic.

  • Doors open at 7 p.m.
  • Buffalo Nichols performance begins at 8 p.m.
