National Aviary

Join National Aviary Ornithologist Bob Mulvihill on an awesome bird adventure to Blue Spruce Park in Indiana County, where 137 bird species have been seen in fall. Hand-feed Black-capped Chickadees, White-breasted Nuthatches, and Tufted Titmice, and explore the park’s beautiful fall foliage. You will also visit nearby Yellow Creek State Park, where birders have observed an incredible 190 species in October! Keep your eyes open for fall migrants—including warblers—and migrating water and shorebirds. Lunch for the road is included.
