From choosing the right script for your students to analyzing scripts, blocking, and coaching actors and everything in between. This class is for both experienced and new theatrical directors. In our time together, we’ll cover the following topics: • Choosing a script • Casting challenges and how to run auditions • Script analysis • Blocking actors • Coaching actors - language and approaches • Running a technical rehearsal • Collaborating with designers • Keeping student actors SAFE in the process Breakfast Included and ACT 48 Credit Available.
