A Sinful Soirée and a Night of Tantalizing Treats

Thursday, October 27, 2022 (Pittsburgh, PA) — The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust invites everyone to spend an indulgent night in the Ultimate Chocolate Fantasy in the heart of the Cultural District. The Chocolate Bar returns to the Benedum Center on Saturday, November 12 with a VIP Experience featuring an exquisite menu prepared and curated by Bob Sendell and All in Good Taste Productions from 6-7:30 p.m. The VIP menu includes Signature Pizzas with Chocolate Garnishing, Cocoa Crusted Brisket with Wild Mushrooms, Vegetarian Chili with Grilled Cheese, and Mole Sauce. See below for the Full VIP Menu. The VIP Experience will also include a special live music performance by the Check Your Bucket Band.

The main Chocolate Bar event takes place from 8-10:30 p.m. Held in the breathtaking lobby of the Benedum Center, a magical night awaits each guest as you enter the Grand Lobby, and the air is filled with the aroma of sweet and savory chocolate offerings from over 16 restaurants and chocolatiers and DJ SMI spinning all night.

At the Galerie d’ Art et Chocolat, our showcase artists for the evening are Amanda Wright, displaying her unique Chocolate Sculpture designed from chocolate as you enter into the Galerie Space with the brilliant, Claire Hardy featuring her “A Brush with Monet” series of paintings which will also be on display at the event along with a myriad of chocolate tastings.

The Chocolate Bar will feature decadent chocolate-inspired sweet treats and desserts as well as savory offerings including luscious chocolate ganache, dipped chocolates, Mississippi Mud Pies, dark and spicy truffles, Chocolate Raviolis filled with Lemon Ricotta, Short Ribs with Dark Chocolate & Blackberries, Chili & Cocoa Rubbed Tenderloin with Chocolate Red Bean Chili.  The Chocolate Bar Participants include: A519 Chocolates, Braddock’s Rebellion at the Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotels, The Capital Grille, Chocolate Moonshine, Con Alma, Chef Claudy Pierre and Eminent Hospitality, Churn Homemade Ice Cream, Culinaire, Eddie Merlot’s, Emerson’s, Forma Pasta, La Gourmandine, Lux Chocolates, The Milk Shake Factory, Nosh & Curd, Sabatello’s Bakery, Sarris Candies, Sweet Market Tabbara Chocolates, Toffee Taboo, Over Eden and The Brick Shop at the TRYP Hotel plus Willow & Wren Cookies by Chelsea and The Delicious KoKo Remix Cocktail Curated and Presented by Con Alma.
