Guided Tour: Objects That Define Pittsburgh

Learn about fascinating stories of Pittsburgh history and enhance your museum experience on an “Objects That Define Pittsburgh” tour at the History Center on Oct. 1.

Museum docents will lead a special guided tour highlighting some of history’s most iconic people and places from Western Pa.

  • Walk through Pittsburgh: A Tradition of Innovation and explore the?stories of how Western Pennsylvania innovators and their groundbreaking achievements have impacted our society.
  • Visit 90 local neighborhoods in Special Collections and Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood to see the original set from the hit children’s show.
  • Stop by the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum and learn about the legendary Steelers running back Franco Harris and his Immaculate Reception, the most iconic play in NFL history.

Tours will be led by History Center docents.
