Join the Senator John Heinz History Center to sample a delicious assortment of foods from more than 40 local vendors representing the best of the Burgh, from long-time Pittsburgh staples like Isaly's, Wholey's Market, and 5 Generation Bakers to emerging local businesses such as Pittsburgh Pickle and All Things Empanada.
Along with the assortment of foods, the event will also showcase cooking demonstrations with the city's finest culinary experts and artisan talks by local specialty vendors.

Visitors can also explore six floors of History Center exhibitions, including Heinz and Pittsburgh: A Tradition of Innovation, which examines the region's rich food history.
Admissions to the museum is $18 for adults, $15 for seniors (age 62+), and $9 for students. This includes all the Hometown-Homegrown activities, food samples, and History Center exhibitions. Also, all is free for History Center members.
All kids aged 17 and under receive FREE admissions thanks to community partner UPMC.
The event is part of the History Center's Food & Fitness initiative, which is presented by UPMC Health Plan.
