Learn about fascinating stories of Pittsburgh history and enhance your museum experience on a Guided Tour at the Heinz History Center.
On select Saturdays, the History Center’s docents will lead special hour-long tours of exhibitions, which explore important themes in Western Pennsylvania history.
Guided Tours on Saturday, April 2 will examine Pittsburgh’s industrial dominance from the mid-19th to early 20th centuries. From the rise of the iron and steel industry to world-changing innovations from Pittsburghers like Westinghouse, Frick, and Carnegie, the tour will take a closer look at the museum’s Pittsburgh: A Tradition of Innovation exhibit.

Visitors must sign up for Guided Tours at the admissions desk prior to each tour. The tours are included with regular museum admission and will be capped at 25 attendees.
