Alongside his Symphonies, the Piano Concertos of Beethoven have been towering masterworks for two centuries. For the first time in its history, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra presents all five of Beethoven’s Concertos across a single weekend. Beethoven master Rudolf Buchbinder plays the concertos, conducting from the keyboard. The Cleveland Plain Dealer hails Rudolf Buchbinder’s “Supreme artistic ability, guided by taste and intelligence.”
