DTC Organ Trio at City of Asylum

DTC, musical collective formed by musicians David “Throck” Throckmorton (drums), Dan Wilson (guitar), and Cliff Barnes (organ). The group was formed by chance in the winter of 2014 when the trio played one unrehearsed show and discovered a rare and exciting chemistry. DTC plays a variety of genres including jazz, funk, gospel, R&B, Brazilian music, Afro-Cuban, Blues, Pop, and many other styles.

All three musicians represent the highest caliber of regional talent. Dan Wilson (guitar) plays regularly with organist Joey DeFrancesco as well as bassist Christian McBride. Cliff Barnes (organ) has toured with bassist Marcus Miller and Pieces Of A Dream. David Throckmorton (drums) has recorded and toured with Maynard Ferguson, David Fiuczynski, Tomoyasu Hotei and Dianne Schuur.
