First Crack @ Creative Coffee & Supply

Our mission is to create community from seed to cup. We strive to serve quality coffee and share our knowledge along the way. Our team is grateful to have the opportunity to finally celebrate our new space with our community. With restrictions lifting, we can begin to carry out our vision for what we believe this place has the potential to be.

Join us for our “First Crack” event on Saturday, August 28. We will be hosting live coffee roasting demonstrations, sharing insights to the process, and answering all your questions. There will be live music and lunch available with the purchase of a ticket. We will also be giving away bags of coffee, a Chemex, and other fun surprises at our raffle!

Pre-registration is free and encouraged. A complimentary raffle entry will be provided to every attendee that signs up at least 24 hours before the event. A $25 event ticket secures a bag of freshly roasted coffee, lunch from Madeleine’s Bakery, and two raffle entries.

The day of the event, tickets will still be made available at the door. Additional raffle tickets will be given away with every $25 spent at the shop and espresso bar. Must be present to collect a raffle prize.

Already curious about roasting? The first crack is an audible cue that the coffee beans are approaching the final stage of roasting. The cracking process happens when the coffee beans expand, and the moisture begins to evaporate. When the moisture creates steam, it will build up pressure that causes the beans to crack open.
