"Good Guys" Joe and Jim have been performing since their early teens. After going there separate ways for some 25 years to fulfill family obligations they have rekindled their desire to play music, this time as an acoustic duo.

Their early teens included being a part of a band called "Hausen" which had local popularity in the Pittsburgh/Tri-State area back in the 70's. Hausen enjoyed having a #2 single entitled "How Do You Do" and a #16 song called "Only You" on WOMP FM Radio located in Bellaire, Ohio. They enjoyed opening shows for national acts such as "Steppenwolf" and "Sha-Na-Na" and also had the privilege of being the chosen back-up musicians for Lou Christie. The band re-united back in 2003 and continues to perform occasionally.

In later years the "Good Guys Band" was created, it was made up of 6 original members. One of the many places that we played was an establishment in North Hills. Back in 2005 we had played on a regular monthly basis at this place and sadly they changed their entertainment from bands to "solo" and "duo" acts. Asked if we could possibly put an acoustic duo together...they gave us three play dates for 2006 and as they say the rest is history. We have been going strong ever since!
