In this hands-on visual arts workshop, educators will learn the basics of 3-D felting, including color blending, basic shape creation, and how to add simple details. Through participation in the activities, you will gain first-hand experience in how fiber arts can be used to promote creative risk-taking, foster innovative thinking, and develop resiliency in young people. You will leave the workshop with resources for fiber arts, sample lesson plans and sample assessment tools that can be adapted to a variety of age groups.
