Following her superb February 2018 PSO debut, Norwegian sensation Vilde Frang returns to Heinz Hall to perform Beethoven’s Violin Concerto, a stunning display for both soloist and orchestra. Baritone superstar Matthias Goerne and tenor Eric Cutler join Honeck for Mahler’s “Song of the Earth.” It is from this posture of the heart that a musical journey through life’s most exultant and deeply introspective moments comes to life in one of Mahler’s most powerful masterpieces.
