Feb 23, 2019 - Feb 23, 2019 | 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Trust Arts Education Center
980 Liberty Avenue
Pittsburgh, PA 15222

Alternative R&B intersects with jazz and neo-soul in the laidback, Soulquarians-inspired grooves of Moonchild. True to their genre-crossing appeal, the trio has collaborated or toured with many highly-respected names in the soul, jazz and hip-hop crowds including Stevie Wonder, Kamasi Washington, Jill Scott, India.Aire and Georgia Anne Muldrow. Led by the at-ease vocals, clarinet, and saxophone of Amber Navran, the band’s lineup also includes Max Bryk on keyboards, saxophone, and clarinet, Andris Mattson on keyboards, trumpet, and flugelhorn, and Efa Etoroma, Jr. on drums. They have released three critically acclaimed albums: Be Free (2012), Please Rewind (2015), and Voyager (2017). You will not want to miss the intersection of cool and smooth that is Moonchild.

Please note: This is a non-seated show. All tickets are for standing room, general admission only.

Ticket includes admission to an official post-show after party at Beacon – Creative Space (484 Graeme Street) located in Market Square, co-hosted by Make Sure You Have Fun™. Dance the night away to the sounds of Disco, House, Funk & more! Find out more.
