Haunted Pittsburgh presents: A Victorian "Seance"

The Victorians were obsessed with communicating with the dead. Séances and Ouija boards were all the rage, from the most humble hovel to Buckingham Palace. For one night only at the spectacularly haunted William Penn Hotel, journey with us back to the age of elegant carriages and English manors bathed in gaslight, and spend an evening like the Victorians--sojourning with the dead. Haunted Pittsburgh Ghost Guide extraordinaire Alexander Vornoff, inspired by the antique art of haunted theatre, is your medium, as he reenacts and explains the “art” of the Victorian seance. This is a reenactment and a look at how “mediums” conjured the dead . Mr. Vornoff doesn’t plan to actually conjure up the dead (but, then again, we make no promises!)
