2018 Lending Hearts Gala

Please join Lending Hearts as they present the 2018 Lending Hearts Friend Award to our 2018 honorees, Mr. & Mrs. Tyler Kennedy. Tyler and Brandi have a tremendous joy for being with children and have been tremendous advocates of Lending Hearts in the community. They personify the mission of lending their hearts to others.

Their Lending Hearts Ambassador Award honoree will be Dr. Lanie Francis, MD. Dr. Francis is a hematologist and medical oncologist at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center and the head of The Wellness and Integrative Oncology Program at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Her program has been a source of guidance and inspiration in the creation of the Lending Hearts integrative oncology program, UP Street, that is currently in operation in the oncology department at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.

Mr. Bob Pompeani of KDKA-TV as the Master of Ceremonies for the evening will take guests through the awards ceremony, a delicious dinner and live auction. Lending Hearts mission is to provide emotional and social support to children and young adults with cancer and their families through unique activities and community outreach. They enhance, enrich, and embrace the lives of kids with cancer through fundraising, advocacy and volunteer opportunities.
