Maggie's Farm Rum and Pirata Fundraising Event

Pirata has teamed up with Maggie’s Farm Rum to create a special barrel in honor of Christy Angelo, a former Southern Wine & Spirits and Beam Suntory employee who lost a short five-month battle with colon cancer in 2012. This exclusive barrel is the first batch of Maggie's Farm Dedication Series. This 50/50 dark rum, is a blend of half Maggie's Farm rum fermented and pot-distilled from raw cane and half aged Trinidad rum fermented and column-distilled from molasses. After aging the blend for 6 months, this very special batch was finished in a premium Kentucky bourbon barrel.  This limited product will be released on Friday Dec. 8th at Maggie's Farm Rum in the Strip from 6-10pm.The Cost of the bottle is $45, with $20 from every bottle being donated to Allegheny Center for Digestive Health in Christy Angelo's name.
