This is an opportunity to attend a light breakfast, networking and a brief program featuring Shawn McCaney, Executive Director of the William Penn Foundation. At this networking event, discover the transformative equity initiative “Rebuilding Community Infrastructure in Philadelphia" by Shawn McCaney, Executive Director of the William Penn Foundation. The Foundation recently made a $100 million commitment – the largest grant in the foundation’s history – to the "Rebuild" effort. “Rebuild” is a seven year plan announced by Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney and Managing Director Mike Di Beradinis to remake Philadelphia’s landscape of civic assets, advancing an equity agenda for neighborhoods by improving public spaces, boosting economic opportunity and civic capacity, and creating social connectivity. 8:00AM: Light breakfast and networking session 8:30AM: Presentation and Q&A with Shawn McCaney Registration is required.
