Go Green with Make-A-Wish®

Nov 14, 2020 - Nov 14, 2020 | 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Four different locations (listed in description)
Make-A-Wish has partnered with Gottlieb, Inc., Aluminum Recycling who will be buying collected cans to raise funds for children with critical illnesses.
On November 14,  several different locations will be set up through the South Hills, North Hills, West Hills, and East Side for you to unload all your cans (see specific locations below). PITT OHIO has generously partnered with Make-A-Wish to do a big haul throughout the local region to collect cans. You are encouraged to come together as a community and start collecting cans within your businesses, schools, organizations, neighborhoods, and your households.
Make-A-Wish is currently accepting aluminum beverage cans (i.e., soda cans, beer cans, energy drink cans, etc.). Stay tuned for more updates.
- The Waterfront (in the parking lot next to the Hampton Inn and across from AMC Theater)
- Bethel Park Recreation & Community Center (located in parking lot of 5151 Park Avenue, Bethel Park, PA 15102)
- Northland Heights Senior Living (located behind Kohl’s at 4859 McKnight Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237)
- Moon Township Municipal Building (located in parking lot of 1000 Beaver Grade Road, Moon Twp, PA 15108)
In the meantime, join Make-A-Wish and start collecting cans to bring our community together to make a difference. Now more than ever, the world needs the hope of a wish. They invite you to keep wishing, no matter the circumstances. Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
If you are unable to collect cans, please consider making a donation to grant wishes at http://site.wish.org/goto/gogreen.
