Chess Camp

Practice your chess moves and improve your game skills at the Children's Museum's one-day Chess Camp! Learn the basics of the game, fun strategies, and opening techniques. Campers will solve chess puzzles and create chess-related art. Free play time will also be included.

This camp is geared toward beginner to intermediate players. No previous chess experience is necessary. The camp will be held at the Museum and will include supervised time to visit Museum exhibits including a visit to our newest exhibit, Destination Empathy. Campers should bring a lunch and dress comfortably. Chess sets and supplies will be provided for use during the camp.

This camp is for children age 10-14.
