Vendor Listing | Pre-Ordering Options | Know Before You Go: Safety Precautions

The 11th Street Farmers Market is now closed. Visit the Market Square Farmers Market on Thursdays in Market Square to find your favorite vendors.

The rain-or-shine market offered regionally-grown produce, organic products, and small-batch foods from a variety of vendors each week. Admission to the market was free, with limited free parking also being made available thanks to the support of The Buncher Company and Alco Parking.

Vendors with Pre-ordering Options

When possible, limit your time at the Farmers Market by coordinating your items to be picked up (and even potentially paid ahead of time) from specific vendors that offer that option. See below for a list of vendors that offer pre-ordering.

  • Cherry Valley Organics: Order window opens on Wednesdays at 10 am and ends on Fridays at noon prior to the Market. Select Downtown Pittsburgh 11th Street Farmers Market as pick-up option during online checkout.
  • José Quiroz Farm: Items available for sale will be posted via Facebook, with pre-orders accepted via email or Facebook message
  • The Olive Tap: Call (412) 252-2234 or email preorders at otapstrip@gmail.com, with orders needing to be placed Friday at noon prior to the Market
  • The Pickled Chef: place orders online with code “MARKETSQUARE” to remove the shipping charge for free pickup at the market
  • Wise County Biscuits: ordering opens Mondays at noon and closes Fridays at 3:00 p.m., select the Market Pickup from the shipping page
  • Woolf Farms: Orders must be placed by 4:00 p.m. on the Friday prior to the Market

Know Before You Go: Important Safety Precautions

  • No admittance will be permitted without a face covering
  • Anyone who is feeling unwell in any way should stay home
  • Maintain at least 6 feet of distance between yourself and other shoppers
  • Do not touch or handle any products prior to purchase
  • Online preorders and prepayment from participating vendors are highly encouraged
  • Use credit and debit card payments, when possible
  • Wash your hands before and after visiting the Market
  • Limit your party to 1 – 2 people and split up to finish shopping quickly
  • Regularly wash your reusable bags before bringing them to the Market – vendors will not handle your personal shopping bag
  • The number of shoppers in the market at any given time may be limited
  • No loitering: active shoppers only, please

Additionally, vendors will be spaced further apart with signage and queue lines to help attendees maintain a proper social distance. These regulations were formed in collaboration with the Allegheny County Health Department and will be enforced by on-site staff. Vendors will also be taking additional precautions.
