Renewal Team

The Renewal Team is an initiative of the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership (PDP) that provides enhanced cleaning and power washing services of Downtown alleyways and sidewalks.

With the support of PDP membership, the PDP has launched a new initiative in partnership with Renewal Inc. that will supplement the work of our established Clean Team and help further improve the public realm in Downtown Pittsburgh. Enhanced cleaning efforts will begin in April 2023 and will continue through the remainder of the year.

About the Team

The new Renewal Team consists of four full-time staff and supervisor. This team is formed through a partnership with Renewal, Inc.’s GETPAID® (Gaining Employment Through Planning, Advocacy, Initiative and Dedication) initiative, a local workforce development program that provides on-the-job training and employment reentry services to help individuals coming out of the criminal justice system prepare for future success.
