Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht's, Seven Deadly Sins, is a rarely performed ballet chanté, or sung ballet. This thrilling musical drama takes you on Anna's seven year journey around the United States during the Great Depression. In each city, she encounters one of the seven deadly sins while attempting to earn a living for her family back home. In this work, issues such as poverty, mental illness, and exploitation are addressed.
