Join us for an evening of repertoire and premiere work that will keep you completely entranced. Experience the restaging of Martha Graham’s iconic Lamentation solo performed by artistic director Maria Caruso. The profound modern dance solo, seldom performed by an artist outside of the Graham Company, will be shared with the city of Pittsburgh, Martha’s Graham’s home, after a rigorous training process with the company in New York City. A bucket list project, Caruso is thrilled to be sharing this great honor with her community.

The evening also includes a premiere work by Caruso for her BCB3 Company as well as her most notable rock ballets from 2007, Kaleidoscope, set to the sounds of the DMB. In this work, the audience will see music come to life through color palettes that move right through the rainbow. A visual fantasy that pulsates through the greatest works of DMB, you are sure to be excited for the premiere work, Doors and Windows. This new work takes the audience on a journey that transcends time and space as movement takes us through doors and windows to new dimensions.
