Join Wigle Whiskey and the Heinz History Center for a fun afternoon of boozy storytelling about the history of cider production in Pittsburgh. Hear the true tale of the Pittsburgh’s Johnny “Appleseed” Chapman, originator of the frontier cider industry, and why cider disappeared during the Prohibition era. Your $10 ticket includes a welcome cocktail, cider samples, and complimentary admission to the History Center to see the American Spirits: The Rise & Fall of Prohibition Exhibit.
