The Tamburitzans present Phoenix—A New Dawn

This year, The Tamburitzans present a new production entitled, Phoenix—A New Dawn, inspired by Greek and Roman mythology, where the Phoenix represents a symbol of perseverance and strength—an emblem of rebirth. The show includes music, songs, and dances from countries such as Greece, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Italy, Croatia, Serbia, and a suite of music and dances in the Jewish tradition. Hundreds of original costumes, intricate choreographies from cultures around the world, sophisticated lighting and passionate music—you will experience all of this neatly captured in our two hour live performance.

Existing as a living tribute to our ancestors by bringing to the stage a new and exciting perspective, combining tradition with the modern era - the ensemble highlights the wealth and splendor of diversity among the world’s ethnicities, fostering understanding, respect, and peace. The Tamburitzans commit to rewarding talented student performers scholarships for their contributions and dedication to the arts.
