Children's Museum Pittsburgh

Throughout this workshop, participants will explore the beginning steps of knitting. Participants will learn the basics from making your new skein into a ball, to casting on and knitting. We will work through different kinds of knitting and find which technique works best for you! Kick back and relax while you work on your project with like-minded fiber friends during this two hour workshop.

Workshops are $5 per participant and advanced registration is required. Click here to register.

Museum admission is NOT required to attend the workshop.  Participants may be dropped off by a parent or guardian in the Museum lobby and will be escorted to the workshop by a Museum staff member after their registration has been verified.  After the workshop is over, participants can be picked up in the Museum lobby. Museum admission must be purchased if participant plans to visit the Museum before or after the duration of the workshop.
