Picklesburgh

July 18 – July 21, 2024.

Picklesburgh represents one of the most attended events of the year in Downtown Pittsburgh with crowds expected to surpass 200K people. With a newly extended timeframe, the event presents a high-visibility opportunity for small businesses to engage with customers and participate in one of the most unique Pittsburgh events of 2024.

Night Markets

June 22 – October 26, 2024

Night Markets bring an awesome outdoor pop-up shopping market and festival to Downtown, featuring Pittsburgh’s most creative independent vendors. Clothing, furniture, candles, food, drinks, and more are exhibited in this weekly series.

The Market Square Night Market series returns for the 2024 season and will be held on Saturday evenings starting on June 22 and running through October 26, 2024.

Market Square Farmers Market

May 16 – October 31, 2024

The Market Square Farmers Market will operate every Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. May 16 through October 31, 2024. Live entertainment is featured each week and the Market seeks to highlight a wide variety of local purveyors throughout the season to join the PDP in bringing the vibrant colors and tastes of the farm to Downtown!

The 63nd Annual Highmark Light Up Night® celebration will be held in Downtown Pittsburgh in November 2024.

Peoples Gas Holiday Market™

November – December 2024

The Peoples Gas Holiday Market has established itself as one of the region’s premiere holiday destinations and continues to build momentum.

The Peoples Gas Holiday Market is held in Market Square, the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh. This vibrant, centralized location is surrounded by restaurants, major office buildings, hotels, our magnificent Cultural District, and is adjacent to the landmark ice rink at PPG Plaza.

Holiday Market visitors experience a wonderland of Alpine-style wooden chalets as they stroll through the illuminated square, each chalet brimming with unique holiday gifts.
