Pittsburgh Public Theater's PlayTime is an online play reading series which takes place each Thursday at 7pm EDT. The events are free of charge, but all donations received during the presentation will be shared with the artists involved. TUNE IN HERE.

In the spirit of Independence Day, Pittsburgh Public PlayTime presents The Declaration Project July 2 at 7pm EDT! Join us in honoring the past to shape the future with students from our 2020 Shakespeare Monologue and Scene Competition. Led by Pittsburgh theater artists Jamie Agnello and Malic Ma’at, this gifted ensemble of performers will come together to read from The Declaration of Independence, Elizabeth Cady Stanton’s The Declaration of Sentiments, and their own collective Declaration for the Future. Examining “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness…,” these young creatives will lend their voices, passion, and wit to a conversation about the values at the foundation of our democracy, and about their vision for our future.

  • Click OPEN ZOOM  and enjoy! Showtime is officially 7:00pm, but if you stop by a few minutes before, you might see a pre-show dance party!
