Step into a lush habitat filled with beautiful greenery and brightly-colored birds! Hold out a nectar cup as these beautiful birds fly down to you for a snack! Learn more details in our Get Closer section. The Rainbow Lorikeets habitat will be opening in mid-January - stay tuned for updates!

Get Close with NEW Daily Activities Included with Admission

• NEW! Flamingo Island Adventure - 11:30 am & 2 pm
  Get an up-close look at American Flamingos in the Wetlands, including the opportunity to feed them! Volunteer to hand-feed other beautiful island birds as they fly around you.
• Royal Stoll with the Victoria Crowned Pigeons - 11 am & 3:30 pm
  Watch as these curious birds explore Canary’s Call, presented by Dollar Bank, strolling inches past your feet. You’ll learn all about Victoria Crowned Pigeons -the world’s largest pigeon species- a native of New Guinea!
• Hang with the Bats
  Stand in awe as Malayan Flying Foxes spread their nearly five-foot wingspan, revealing their cute faces, during an interaction with our trainers.

• Hands-on Activities for Kids 
  Kids can dress up as a bird expert and play with hands-on veterinary and birding toys!

  Transport yourself into the rainforest! Marvel at a Southern Three-banded Armadillo, make friends with Valentino the sloth, and be mesmerized by colorful macaws!

  Fly through New York City on this full-body flight simulator. This is the closest you’ll ever come to knowing what it’s like to be a bird! Ask our Visitor Services desk for more information about your flight!
