Roger Humphries Celebrates Ray Charles will feature the original arrangements from the Ray Charles big band book that Roger Humphries played when he was in the band in the late 1960s. The infectious Soul Music that Ray Charles developed, combining Blues, Jazz, R&B, and Gospel, will be brought to life by Pittsburgh’s own Jazz Legend Roger Humphries and his Big Band - featuring 16 of the region’s top musicians. The renowned vocalists will bring audiences of all ages into the New Year swingin’ with the sheer joy that Ray Charles shared with the world for decades.
