Kierra Darshell Drag Show

Kierra Darshell celebrates a distinguished career in the art of female impersonation for 35 years. As Pittsburgh’s First Lady of Drag - Ms. Darshell, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: leader, role model, innovator in the local drag community, and mentor for drag performers. As curator/producer of the Tri-State All-Star Pageantry system in 1992, she expanded the system to include Miss Newcomer and Mister divisions. Ms. Darshell is the producer and host of Saturday and Sunday Drag Brunches (Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman and his family attended Mother's Day drag brunch in 2023). She hosts Outrageous Bingo, Pittsburgh Leather Contests, and has performed at numerous community and corporate events. Among her many career highlights, she was the opening act for legendary singers such as Patti Labelle, Gloria Gaynor, Martha Reeves, and Christine Ebersole. She produced drag shows for The Hamilton Broadway touring cast party in addition to Kinky Boots Musical after-party for The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust attended by Grammy, Tony, and Emmy awards-winner Billy Porter. She loves working and performing for producers Richard Parsakian events and Joe King GAYME shows. She has graced the covers of numerous magazines and the first drag queen featured in The Icons of Pittsburgh annual magazine. Kierra Darshell is honored to produce and host the first drag show for Highmark First Night Pittsburgh at the Greer Cabaret Theatre.
