ABOUT

This one-of-a-kind evening celebrates the remarkable presentations of the Pittsburgh Dance Council. Over the past 50 years, Dance Council has showcased preeminent dance companies and performances from across the globe, including the works of the late Gregory Hines, the Joffrey Ballet, Sankai Juku, Batsheva Dance Company and many more. MOMIX will kick-off the 2019-2020 season of the Pittsburgh Dance Council at the Gala.

MOMIX, founded in 1981 by choreographer Moses Pendleton, creates works that combine acrobatics, dance, gymnastics, mime, props, and film in a theatrical setting. The company has successfully toured internationally, performing on five continents. MOMIX’s astounding performances have been described as creating dizzying universes which entreat audiences to join a new reality. Every performance is unforgettable. Your visit to another universe begins at the annual Gala.

Sponsorships include unique branding and visibility, a delectable dining experience, entertainment and the opportunity to support the mission of the Trust. Proceeds from the event help fund arts education, community engagement, and free programming. The swanky evening begins with cocktails, dinner in an elegantly designed and themed space and a few after party surprises. We look forward to seeing you on September 20, when we all Dance in the District!

Gala sponsorships range from $7,500 -$35,000. Tickets are $500 per person. For more information, dietary restrictions or accessibility assistance, call (412) 471-8711 or jburke@trustarts.org.

PLEASE NOTE: The Rachel Carson (9th Street) Bridge will be closed for repairs and non-accessible the day of the Gala. All traffic will be detoured to the Andy Warhol (7th Street) Bridge.
