From Slavery to Freedom Film Series: Move When the Spirit Says Move

Presented as part of the From Slavery to Freedom Film Series, “Move When the Spirit says Move: The Legacy of Dorothy Freeman Cotton” shares the remarkable story of Dorothy Foreman Cotton, a key player in the Civil Rights Movement and the only woman on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s executive staff.

Dr. Margo Hittleman, co-founder and Senior Fellow at the Dorothy Cotton Institute (DCI), will join the broadcast following the screening to discuss the film.
