MAPS GALA 2023

The GALA is held at Perkin's Eastman's office at 525 William Penn Place, Suite 2510, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, December 12th. The event program celebrating awardees will be around 20 minutes and starts promptly at 6:30 PM. Time before and after the event program are for connecting with one another and meeting the Awardees.

SCHOLARSHIP: The MAPS Scholarship is specifically for minority architects, architecture students, and high school students interested in pursuing a career in Architecture. Its purpose is to provide people of color with financial support for education, professional development, and other growth opportunities. Recent awardees from the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 will celebrated, and awardees from the Fall 2023 scholarships will be announced at the GALA.

DRESS: We encourage attendees to dress in something colorful and vibrant. It is not a formal attire event, but we ask that you dress nicely.

FOOD & DRINK: This event is catered by Chef 'N A Box. Appetizers will be provided. For drinks, adult beverages and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

DONATIONS: To support future scholarship rounds, we ask that you consider making a donation to the Minority Architects of Pittsburgh Scholarship. Electronic, check, cash, and in-kind donations are welcome.
